125 Years of NorthShore University HealthSystem
This is an exciting time for NorthShore University HealthSystem (NorthShore) as we celebrate the 125th anniversary of our founding as Evanston Emergency Hospital. We have come a long way from our humble beginnings as a tiny, six-bed hospital on Emerson St., but our long-standing mission ‘to preserve and improve human life’ has always been at the core of who we are and what we do. So please join us as we take a look back at our rich history. We hope you enjoy this trip down memory lane!
