11/13/2006 - Evanston Northwestern Healthcare (ENH), a leading provider in healthcare is pleased to announce internal promotions of their senior management team. ENH President and CEO Mark R. Neaman has announced the appointment of several new senior managers.
“The internal promotions are consistent with Evanston Northwestern Healthcare’s over-arching goals for 2007, including the expansion of our quality, service and loyalty initiatives to our patients,” Neaman said.
The new appointments and promotions include Nancy Semerdjian, Liz Behrens, Lindsey Cox, Gabrielle Cummings and Janet Sullivan.
As Senior Vice President for Medical Informatics, Nancy Semerdjian, RN, MBA, will also assume the position of head of the Office of Chief Nursing Officer for the Evanston Northwestern Healthcare system. Ms. Semerdjian has over 30 years of clinical and management experience at ENH, and since 2002, has been a key leader in implementing our EPIC electronic medical record system. She will help to combine our clinical, nursing and information technologies to further enhance our clinical capabilities.
Liz Behrens, RN, MSN will be promoted from Assistant Vice President to Vice President for ENH Quality Initiatives. This is consistent with one of ENH’s major new initiatives in clinical quality and quality measurement. Ms. Behrens has been at Evanston Northwestern Healthcare for a year, but also has over 20 years of related experience.
Lindsey Cox, MHA, is being promoted from Assistant Vice President to Vice President at Highland Park Hospital and will assume additional operating responsibilities both at Highland Park Hospital and for the Corporation. Ms. Cox joined Evanston Northwestern Healthcare in 2002.
Gabrielle Cummings, MHA, will be promoted from Assistant Vice President to Vice President at Glenbrook Hospital and will assume additional operating responsibilities both at Glenbrook Hospital and for the Corporation. Ms. Cummings joined Evanston Northwestern Healthcare in 2002.
Janet Sullivan, RN, MS is being promoted from Vice President to Senior Vice President. In this role she will continue to lead the ENH Home Care Services Division and will also assume additional operating responsibilities at the Evanston Hospital campus. Ms. Sullivan has been on the Evanston Northwestern Healthcare Management Staff since 1999 and has over 20 years of relevant experience.
