The chair was created through the philanthropic support of the Ronald Chez and Richard Melman families in recognition of ENH’s excellence in prostate cancer treatment and research, and Dr. Brendler’s outstanding contributions to patient care and medical research in this field.

Dr. Charles B. Brendler, of Chicago, was invested with the Ronald L. Chez Family and Richard Melman Family Chair of Prostate Cancer. He received his medical degree from The University of Virginia.

“The purpose of these endowed chairs is to recognize and offer much-deserved attention to the outstanding work of leading physicians and scientists at ENH,” said Colleen D. Mitchell, ENH Foundation President. “Dr. Brendler is a leader in his field, and being named to an endowed chair informs others of the tremendous advancements he is making.
