Special Message:
Visitor Policy and Visiting Hours
IMPORTANT UPDATE:
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we have modified our visitor policy and non-COVID inpatient visiting hours. These changes are in place for the health, safety and protection of our patients, visitors and staff. Please read our Visitor Policy for the most up-to-date information.
Family members and friends are always welcome to visit during Hospital visiting hours. However, for the patients' comfort and well-being, we ask that visits be quiet and brief. Because rest is vital for recovery, we have established visiting schedules.
The visiting hours are:
- Intensive Care Units
Visitors to the Intensive Care Units are discouraged between 7 a.m. and 9 a.m. and between 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. Only two visitors at a time. Visitors must be at least 13 years old. Please observe ICU safety and visitor guidelines established by the patient's unit.
- Other Medical and Surgical Units
General visiting hours are from 11 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Specific hours are established by each unit. Visitors must be at least 13 years old. Children between the ages of 6 and 12 may visit only when accompanied by an adult. Please observe all visitor guidelines and hours established by the patient's unit.
Lounges and Waiting Rooms
- Surgical Family Lounge
The Surgical Family Lounge is located on the second floor. The Surgical Family Lounge is staffed with a receptionist and offers a patient tracking board to follow a loved one's progress from pre-operative to post-operative care. Please sign-in with the receptionist upon arrival and let her know if you have any needs.
- Other Medical Unit Lounges
A family lounge is located on the floor of each patient unit except for the fourth floor of the Knox building.
