NorthShore University HealthSystem is committed to keeping our patients, their families, our staff and our community safe. We encourage you to join us by making this symbolic commitment to COVID safety guidelines. Together, we can all help keep our communities safe.
I Will Wear a Mask – Whenever I'm in a setting where I cannot socially distance, I wear a mask. When I'm outside, I have access to a mask to wear anytime social distancing is not possible.
I Will Maintain Social Distance – I stay at least 6 ft apart from others whenever possible. When that is not possible, I make sure I'm wearing a mask.
I Will Wash My Hands – I wash my hands for a full 20 seconds before and after touching surfaces or my face, and I keep hand sanitizer easily accessible.
I Will Stay Home If I'm Sick – I don’t power through and think new sniffles, congestion or other symptoms are nothing to worry about. I also stay home if I think I have had a high risk COVID exposure.
I Will Not Attend Large Social Gatherings Without Social Distancing – I understand the risks of these gatherings and commit to keeping social gatherings small.
I Will Be Mindful Of My Mental Health – I will speak up when I am feeling overwhelmed or need help. I also know I can contact NorthShore’s Crisis Intervention Team or call 847.570.2500 anytime.
