Has anyone been successful in PAYING their bill online? After a recent hospitalization I received a flood of mailings from the billing department (confusing to say the least). Sadly, an immediate family member died suddenly and unexpectedly at 46 leaving 4 children behind. I flew out of Chicago to be with my family and attempted to access my bill online. Because this was not possible by the time I returned to Chicago, NS sent it all to collections. I called and made arrangments to make payments due to financial hardship. I was provided information as to where to query about getting the bill available to me online. The response I received was clear :Because of the "status" of your bill we can (will?) not research the problem...
