I researched this provider before scheduling the first appointment, and the reviews were horrible. I decided to give her a chance as someone at Northshore suggested I met with her. She wasn't listening to me at the first appointment, and just prescribed whatever she thought was right. This time around she was irritated and angry with me, curt and unprofessional as if she was bothered by me and was doing me a favor by seeing me. I will definitely be switching to another provider.

Dr. Karlin treated me like a 5 yeard old kid. I wanted to explain my symptoms and every time I tried to explain to her she cut me off and basically assumed and finished the sentence. She was upset that I couldn't remember everything (regarding the medications I was taking) right away. I've never felt this way ever. Like I was an inconvenience to her day. No respect for a person that is going through a very rough time in life. I will be looking for someone else as my doctor. Perhaps a different medical provider altogether.

Provider had bad bedside manner. Didn't listen patiently to my concerns. Was rude and didn't show any interest in discussing my concerns. Was only pointing out her thoughts in very brief sentences without any explanations. My worst doctor visit experience with Northshore!

Dr. Karlin is an excellent physician - I have been her patient for nearly two years and she always shows care and concern when we meet and focuses on my symptoms. She listens to my concerns and fully explains the options. I feel like we are in a partnership regarding my wellness. I sincerely appreciate the care she provides
