Fellows in Urogynecology & Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery 

Dr. Adam Gafni-Kane is our Third Year Fellow. He received his medical degree from Yale University School of Medicine and completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Yale-New Haven Hospital, New Haven, Connecticut.

Dr. Juraj Letko is our Second Year Fellow. He received his medical degree from Comenius University in Slovakia and completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Bronx-Lebanon Hospital Center, Bronx, New York.

Dr. Kelly Jirschele is our First Year Fellow. She received her medical degree from Midwestern University's Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at St. Joseph Hospital in Chicago, Illinois.


Program Manager 

Karen Sasso, RN, APN, MSN, CCCN is our Program Manager and Urogynecology Clinical Nurse Specialist who supervises clinical research studies and provides expertise in the areas of electrical stimulation and biofeedback. Karen received her nursing diploma from the Medical College of Pennsylvania, her BSN at Alverno College and her Masters Degree in Nursing from the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee. She has been a member of the Evanston Continence Center since 1991 and sees patients independently for urodynamic investigations as well as for pelvic floor stimulation, biofeedback, and treatment follow-up.
