The Division of Vascular Surgery provides a number of treatments for the various vascular conditions that affect patients. Some of the more common treatments provided at NorthShore University HealthSystem include:

  • Abdominal aortic aneurysm – endovascular and open 
  • Aortic Dissection and Aneurysms 
  • Aortic Stent Grafting 
  • Carotid Stents 
  • Carotid: endarterectomy or stenting 
  • Endovascular Surgery 
  • Limb Salvage 
  • Minimally Invasive Vascular Interventions 
  • Renal & Intestinal Blood Vessel Reconstruction 
  • Revascularization of the lower extremities, and 
  • The treatment of non-healing wounds that have a vascular component 
  • Thoracic: aortic aneurysm – endovascular or open
