In the nearly 14 years since the NorthShore University HealthSystem (NorthShore) Research Institute was founded, healthcare has made extraordinary scientific and technological strides. Through these gains, our patients now have access to better drugs, procedures, and treatments. Based upon the most recent data NorthShore Research Institute is currently the ninth-ranked comprehensive, independent research hospital in the United States, in terms of awards from the National Institutes of Health.
