Interventional RadiologyInterventional radiology allows for the non-surgical treatment of many conditions that would have required major surgery in years past. By using all the radiological imaging devices and a catheter, usually in an artery, these specialty-trained radiologists are able to pinpoint the origin of the disease and provide treatment. This less-invasive method allows for less pain and quicker recovery than traditional open methods.
