  • The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at NorthShore University HealthSystem (NorthShore), the principal teaching affiliate of The University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine, seeks an outstanding gynecologic oncologist who is passionate about providing quality patient care. Successful candidates will be board eligible or board certified in obstetrics and gynecology as well as in gynecologic oncology.

    NorthShore University HealthSystem's Gynecologic Oncology program provides a full spectrum of care for women with a variety of cancers. Our gynecologic oncologists are on faculty at the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine and are board certified in gynecologic oncology and obstetrics and gynecology. They have received national recognition for both academics as well as quality of clinical care. A multidisciplinary team of physicians oversees the continuum of care for each patient, which may include genetic counseling and screening and medical treatments such as chemotherapy, radiation therapy and surgery. The Division of Gynecologic Oncology jointly developed and manages a gyn/onc fellowship program with the University of Chicago. Gynecologic oncology fellows undergo 50% of their clinical training at NorthShore and, additionally, have spent their lab year at NorthShore two of the past three years. Thus, the position provides the opportunity to mentor and teach fellows, residents and medical students.
