The Department of Medicine at NorthShore University HealthSystem (NorthShore), the principal teaching affiliate of the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine, seeks an experienced medical oncologist to join 4 other breast medical oncologists and lead research and academic efforts. The division of hematology/oncology at NorthShore is comprised of 16 faculty, each with subspecialty focus. Over 800 new breast cancer cases are diagnosed or treated at NorthShore each year.
This is a unique opportunity to develop and grow clinical, translational, and outcomes research as well as lead teaching efforts of students, residents and fellows in breast oncology. The candidate must qualify for academic appointment to the University of Chicago. This position is located in the northern suburbs of Chicago. (Evanston, IL) Applicants must be board certified in Medical Oncology with at least 3 years of post fellowship experience focused on clinical research and practice of breast oncology, with demonstrated capacity for leadership and program development.
