The successful candidate will be board certified in Gastroenterology and ideal candidate will have a special interest and nationally-recognized clinical expertise in Inflammatory Bowel Disease and clinical and/or translational research. The successful candidate will partner with our physicians to further develop and expand NorthShore’s IBD program.

    The Division of Gastroenterology is comprised of more than 50 board certified physicians who provide our patients with the highest quality of care. The position will include: patient care and teaching of medical students, residents, and GI fellows. Additionally, it will have protected time to develop a research program commensurate with interest. NorthShore’s Research Institute and collaboration with the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine, provide an excellent infrastructure to allow the candidate to manage both aspects of this role.

Gastroenterologist - Esophageal

The successful candidate will be board certified in Gastroenterology. Ideal candidates will have a special interest in esophageal clinical and/or translational research. The successful candidate will also lead in the development of a clinical program focused on esophageal motility, swallowing dysfunction, GERD and/or esophageal carcinoma.

Gastroenterologist

    The successful candidate will have completed a Gastroenterology fellowship and be board certified or eligible. Strong consideration will be given for candidates with an interest in Women’s Health, Esophageal diseases or IBD. Clinical responsibilities include seeing patients in clinic and GI lab.  Accommodations can be made for those who have teaching and/or research interests.
