Integrative Medicine

The successful candidate will be board certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine. Fellowship training in Integrative Medicine and/or Functional Medicine is strongly preferred. We also encourage physicians with strong clinical experience in this field to apply. 

    The successful clinician will work with a cohesive, progressive, well-balanced and caring team of Integrative Medicine physicians, traditional Chinese Medicine practitioners, bodyworkers, counselors, herbalists, nutritionists and nurses at the Glenview Park Center, located in the northern suburbs of Chicago. In addition to clinical work, you will have opportunities including teaching medical students, Family and Internal Medicine residents from the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine.

Primary Care Sports Medicine Physician

  • NorthShore University HealthSystem Medical Group, the principal teaching affiliate of the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine, seeks an exceptional full time Primary Care Sports Medicine Family Physician to join the Department of Family Medicine.  This is a core family medicine residency position with an additional role as core faculty in the primary care sports medicine fellowship. The position requires precepting residents in outpatient clinic and supervising residents in the care of inpatients.  Additionally the position entails oversight for the organization and supervision of the required resident rotations in Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine, teaching of musculoskeletal medicine in didactic and workshop formats, organization of learning opportunities at various sporting and community events in the Chicago area, as well as oversight for medical students completing a sports medicine elective.  The individual will also work as a Medical Group member within the Division of Primary Care Sports Medicine seeing their own patient panel.

    The successful applicant will be board certified or board eligible in Family Medicine by ABFM or AOBFP and will have completed fellowship training in Sports Medicine. Certification of Added Qualifications in Sports Medicine and musculoskeletal ultrasound experience are preferred. We offer a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package. Academic appointment to the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine is awarded to qualified candidates commensurate with experience. A proven track record of outstanding interpersonal/communication skills is expected.
