  • The Department of Pediatrics at NorthShore University HealthSystem (NorthShore), the principal academic affiliate of the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine is seeking a full-time Developmental & Behavioral Pediatrician to join our Division of Pediatric Neurology. The successful candidate for this position will be BC/BE in Developmental & Behavioral Pediatrics. 

    Our very active and growing Developmental & Behavioral Pediatrics program is housed within our Division of Pediatric Neurology to promote multidisciplinary patient care and clinical research.  The program is supported by clinical nursing, a clinical child psychologist, and a social worker.  Particular areas of focus include pervasive developmental disorders/autism and transitional care for young adults with developmental disabilities. The successful candidate for this position will also have the opportunity to assume leadership of the developmental follow-up program for our very busy level III NICU.

    The Department of Pediatrics at NorthShore University HealthSystem provides a variety of services for pediatric patients throughout our communities. In addition to the 250+ community pediatricians on our professional staff that provide general pediatric care, we have pediatric specialists who participate in clinical care, medical education for pediatric residents and medical students, and leading edge pediatric research. 

    The Pediatric Hospitalist program consists of 11 physicians that serve both Highland Park and Evanston Hospitals. The opportunity allows for exceptional work life balance with a highly supportive, well established team.
