The Department of Medicine is currently seeking an exceptional full time Palliative Care physician. The successful candidate for this position will be board certified in a primary specialty and board eligible/board certified in hospice and palliative medicine, and have completed a fellowship. A proven track record of outstanding interpersonal/communication skills is expected. This is a non-tenured position with salary and academic rank to be determined by the candidate’s qualifications. Academic appointment to The University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine is available to qualified candidates.
Specialists from the Palliative Care Service at NorthShore are available to assist in coordinating and managing the care of hospitalized patients. The service supports patients at any stage of illness.
