Behavioral Neurology

Neuromuscular Neurology

Pediatric Neurologist

    Join a program offering state-of-the-art equipment for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.  The successful candidate for this position will be board certified/eligible by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and have completed a Pediatric Neurology fellowship.  Additional certification in Sleep Medicine is preferred.  Academic appointment to the University of Chicago is available to qualified candidates.  This will be a full-time, non-tenured position with salary and academic rank to be determined by candidate’s qualifications.

Neurology - Neuro-oncology

The position will include clinical and research responsibilities.   Experience and interest in clinical trials research is expected.

Stroke Specialist

  • The Department of Neurology is the largest academic group in the Chicago region with more than 35 neurologists employed and 9 specialty programs with inpatient and outpatient sites across the North Shore of Chicago.  The Department of Neurology and the Department of Neurosurgery co-lead the NorthShore Neurological Institute, which includes an integrated team of over 70 neurologists, neurosurgeons and physiatrists.

    The NorthShore Stroke Program serves 4 hospitals, including 3 Joint Commission certified Primary Stroke Centers.   The NorthShore Stroke Program is supported by 4 full-time Stroke APN’s, one for each of 4 hospital pavilions, and 2 neuro-interventionalists within the Departments of Neurosurgery and Radiology. 

    The successful candidate for the position will be board certified/board eligible by the American Board of Neurology.  This position will include clinical, administrative, research, and teaching responsibilities in the specialized area of stroke and other cerebrovascular diseases.  As a faculty member of the NorthShore Stroke Program, the stroke neurologist will have the opportunity to rotate among the Stroke Services at 4 hospitals and to provide outpatient care at the NorthShore Neurological Institute and from multiple practice sites across the North Shore of Chicago.
