07/21/09 – NorthShore University HealthSystem (NorthShore) has signed a three-year commitment with the Chicago Bears to be the team’s first-ever official healthcare partner. The announcement comes after the National Football League (NFL) approved for the first time in the league’s history that all NFL Clubs can display sponsorship trademarks logos on their practice jerseys. NorthShore’s logo will appear on the front of all Bears practice jerseys. The partnership is in effect for the entire pre, regular and post 2009, 2010 and 2011 football seasons.

Lazarus has reviewed radiology scans of Bears players for the past eight years at both NorthShore’s Evanston Hospital and Vernon Hills Specialty Care Center.

 

The partnership will include various points of NorthShore advertising exposure from local and national media coverage to the team’s website. The NorthShore logo will appear on chicagobears.com’s highly viewed depth chart and roster website pages, official game day magazine, LED ribbon panel signage inside Soldier Field, pre-video roll advertising on Bears website videos, “Bears Direct” e-mail newsletter and the Bears 2010 calendar. NorthShore will serve as headline sponsor of the Bears Insider Radio program. In addition, NorthShore and the Bears will collaborate on “Real Bears Fans Wear Pink,” a community relations initiative involving a t-shirt sale to raise money for breast cancer awareness.
