The General Neurology program at NorthShore caters to a wide variety of neurological conditions.

To serve all of our patients’ needs, the General Neurology program at the NorthShore Neurological Institute is committed to providing access for both urgent and non-urgent outpatient appointments, as well as quality inpatient consultation services. 

Our general neurology specialists are some of the most skilled and esteemed in the nation—seeing thousands of patients annually to treat any and all neurological disorders, including headache, back and neck pain, seizures, Parkinson’s disease, Alzheimer’s disease, stroke and neuromuscular disorders.

Of course, our general neurologists also know when a specialty referral may be of additional benefit to the patient. When appropriate, they can refer patients to specialty divisions within the Department of Neurology to better serve their needs.
