Retinopathy From High Blood Pressure
High blood pressure
can damage the tiny blood vessels
that supply blood to the light-sensitive lining of the back of the eye
(retina). The damage is known as retinopathy. If untreated, retinopathy can
lead to vision loss and blindness.
