Outreach and CME

The Center for Medical Genetics is a training site for Northwestern University’s Masters in Genetic Counseling program and Evanston Hospital’s Residency programs in Medicine and Obstetrics-Gynecology

Our genetic counselors hold leadership positions in the National Society of Genetic Counselors and were instrumental in the passage of Illinois’ Genetic Counselor Licensing.

Physician Outreach
The Center for Medical Genetics offers outreach programs to physician groups explaining how to bring genetics to your practice of medicine in ways that are beneficial to your patients without adding extra patient visiting time and procedural loads to your staff.
