Jada Hansberry is a board certified Physician Assistant who works with Dr. David J. Winchester to provide complete surgical care in the general surgery and surgical oncology specialties in the NorthShore medical group. Prior to working at NorthShore, Jada Hansberry was a practicing Physician Assistant at a private practice in the Chicago area working in the field of family medicine, pediatrics and women’s health.
Jada Hansberry specializes in treating patients in the outpatient setting, specifically seeing patients post operatively and for continued follow up care. She is utilized as part of the Dr. David J. Winchester team to provide a more complete patient care experience. She is available to answer patient questions, examine and evaluate patient problems, and provide patients with test or surgical pathology results.
In addition to her physician assistant training, Jada has worked in the Hematolgy/Oncology and Ophthalmology research field at Indiana University. She has multiple publications in peer reviewed journals, given research presentations as a part of the ASH conference and IU School of Medicine, and has developed 3 cancer information websites that are now utilized by the patients at the Indiana University Cancer Center.
Jada Hansberry has completed her physician assistant certification along with her masters of physician assistant studies with focus on autism research and bachelors of health science received at Butler University. She has also received her masters of science degree from Indiana University Purdue University of Indianapolis in Biology and a bachelor of science degree from Ball State University.
