The Auxiliary at Highland Park Hospital President, Abbe Silverberg Sparks

The Auxiliary of NorthShore University HealthSystem at Highland Park Hospital welcomes you. Working as a volunteer group since 1921, we raise funds for and provide service to Highland Park Hospital while promoting awareness of Hospital programs within the community.  

Since its inception, The Auxiliary has proudly contributed to many significant Hospital programs, including a $1 million donation to the Ellen Marks Ambulatory Care Center. The Auxiliary also worked to fund the establishment of a Primary Stroke Center at Highland Park Hospital. Currently The Auxiliary is working to support a initiative called Be Well-Lake County - NorthShore's Community Partnership with the Lake County Health Department. It is estimated that 8 percent of residents living in Lake County are battling diabetes.
