These Hands Tell A Story: 25 Years of Handcrafted Art Limited-Edition Book
In celebration of the American Craft Exposition (ACE)’s 25th anniversary The Auxiliary of NorthShore University HealthSystem at Evanston & Glenbrook Hospitals is proud to offer a limited edition art book for purchase: These Hands Tell A Story: 25 Years of Handcrafted Art.
This exciting project pays tribute to some of the country’s leading craft artists and celebrates the fine craft movement by featuring original photographic images of 25 leading craftsmen and women. The book is designed not only to honor the exceptional artists participating in our Exposition, but also to broaden awareness of the beauty and tradition of fine craft.
Artists in the book include Cliff Lee and Josh Simpson, who are represented in the White House Collection of American Crafts, and MacArthur Foundation Fellow, or “genius grant” winner Mary Jackson, as well as many other top contemporary craft favorites from the American Craft Exposition. We are thrilled to highlight the one-of-a-kind work of these outstanding artists and promote the rich heritage of craft.
