Benefit Concert

All proceeds from the event will benefit the Integrative Medicine Program at NorthShore University HealthSystem, specifically to provide patients at the Kellogg Cancer Center with a limited number of free acupuncture, massage, counseling, stress reduction, and nutrition/supplements counseling sessions who could not otherwise afford these services.  These treatments have been shown to help relieve the physical and emotional burdens of having cancer and the side effects of conventional medical treatments, while encouraging the body’s natural healing response.  These treatments are typically not covered by medical insurance, Medicare or Medicaid, requiring patients who use these therapies to pay out-of-pocket.
