NorthShore.org hosted four online chats with our physicians during the month of Februrary. Each of the chats was focused on your heart and what you can do to help prevent common, and some not so common, ailments that affect your heart.

Dr. Justin Levisay discussed peripheral vascular disease (PVD) on February 25 at noon. Dr. Levisay is a cardiologist with NorthShore and informed you of what you need to know about PVD. Read the transcript. 

Sudden Cardiac Death is as frightening as it sounds, but there are ways to prevent this very severe and dangerous condition. Electrophysiologist Dr. Jose Nazari will spoke about SCD and answered your questions in his chat "There is no coming back from sudden cardiac death."
