New Grads

• New grads are hired into a variety of different areas at our four Hospitals. We do not have a specific new grad application, so please select any Staff Nurse/RN position or positions that are full-time and do not require previous RN experience. (Typically, new grads are not hired into part-time positions requiring less than 32 hours per week.)  Current Staff Nurse/RN positions can be found on our website at: www.northshore.org/careers.
• New grads are encouraged to apply for positions 4-6 weeks prior to their graduation date.

Current RN Students  

    Patient Care Technician  

• Current nursing students may work as Patient Care Technicians at Evanston, Glenbrook, Highland Park and Skokie Hospitals.
• Students must have completed at least one semester of clinical rotations or completed a CNA course.
  
• Positions are either "Regular" (set number of hours per week, benefits eligible, if 20 hours per week or greater) or "Resource"  (no set number of hours per week, not benefit eligible)
• On occasion, summer positions are available, although limited.

    Unit Concierge

• Current nursing students may work as Unit Concierge at Evanston, Glenbrook, Highland Park or Skokie Hospitals.
• Positions are either "Regular" (set number of hours per week, benefits eligible, if 20 hours per week or greater) or "Resource"  (no set number of hours per week, not benefit eligible)
  
• Students do not need to have completed clinicals to apply.
• On occasion, summer positions are available, although limited.
