To ensure accountability to the communities we serve, NorthShore University HealthSystem established a Community Advisory Committee (CAC) at each of our four hospitals. The role of the CAC is to advise hospital administration on services and initiatives from a community perspective. The CAC also helps identify community resources that work to strengthen NorthShore University HealthSystem, improve the health of the community, and serve as a communication link between the hospital and the community. Comprised of area residents and local faith, business and community leaders, the CAC serves a vital role in allowing us to fulfill our mission of connecting with the community.
A list of our Community Advisory Committees is available on page 12 of our Community Benefits Report.
