Students are responsible for planning and implementing activities in our activity/arts and crafts room. We work with small groups as well as on an individual basis. We attend bio-behavioral/ethical rounds twice monthly. Each Thursday our program offers a Pediatric Hospital Preparation Program for children ages 3 through 11 years.
Evanston Hospital has a 20-bed Pediatric and Adolescent Unit. Our patients range in age from 0-21 years. Child Life Services was established in 1977 and is an integral part of the staff.
