NorthShore’s interventional radiology team is made up of highly trained specialists from the nation’s top institutions that bring extensive knowledge of surgical and therapeutic procedures unique to the Chicagoland area. As one of the few tertiary care centers in the state, NorthShore maintains high quality in patient care through ongoing research efforts and clinical practice opportunities, ensuring that our team will be able to provide the most current treatments for conditions affecting the vascular system, liver, circulatory system, and extremities.

Our team works alongside specialists in oncology, cardiovascular and endovascular health and internal medicine to create individualized plans for every patient who steps through our doors. Through weekly and bi-weekly conferences between departments, our interventional radiologists are confident that every decision made for our patients is well-informed and comprehensive.

Using the latest technology within the field, we perform minimally invasive surgeries through small incisions which reduce the risk of complications, the chance of scarring and recovery time. We also perform same-day procedures which allow patients to return to their normal activities in a short period of time.

The interventional radiology staff remains up-to-date on the latest advanced procedures by utilizing NorthShore’s state-of-the-art labs located in Evanston, Highland Park, Skokie and Glenbrook Hospitals. Our physicians also attend industry conferences throughout the year and participate in clinical trials to continually improve their skills for faster and more efficient patient care.
