NorthShore University HealthSystem offers three medical plan options to suit employee needs. Prescription drug coverage and a Vision Discount Plan are also provided upon enrollment in any of our three medical plans.
NorthShore Advantage Plan (NSAP) - NorthShore Access
Our NSAP - NorthShore Access option offers employees higher benefits in exchange for using NorthShore providers.
NorthShore Advantage Plan (NSAP) - NorthShore Network, Aetna, Out-of-Network Access
Our Exclusive NorthShore Network, Aetna, Out-of-Network Access option allows access to providers in the NorthShore and Aetna networks, as well as any provider of your choice.
Consumer Choice Plan (CCP) with HSA
Our Consumer Choice Plan (CCP) option offers the ability to see providers in the NorthShore and Aetna networks, as well as any provider of your choice. This option has higher deductibles and out-of-pocket costs, but provides the opportunity to enroll in a Health Savings Account (HSA) to help cover your out-of-pocket healthcare expenses. NorthShore makes a contribution to the HSA based on CCP plan coverage level and coverage begin date.
