I was a new patient last year, waited months for my first appointment and asked for avenues of fertility testing to just be brushed off because I wasn't "actively trying". Came back a year later with the same questions and once again, felt brushed off and had a comment made to me that really seemed inappropriate for her to make without a follow up explanation. If you're so set on not giving opinions unless through referring me to a specialist, don't make comments with bare minimum examinations. Was brushed off for most concerns with zero explanation and left the appointment with more questions than answers. Thankfully it was my last appointment I will ever have with this doctor.
