he was very short when he spoke. and seemed bothered that I was there. I dont ever want to see him again

No real discussions took place. Just simple exchanges and not exactly personable, but the appointment was concise and to the point.

I have an issue with OBs constantly asking me about birth control. I am a 41 year old black woman that has had a child, unless I specifically request birth control, I do not want a doctor trying to explain the pros of a women my age using a prescription to control my family planning. it's my decision, I have had this experience many times in the past with other male and the occasional female gyno. it needs to stop. I also never want to be told I should consider a hysterectomy as an option of care to treat a nonthreating female problem just because I'm in the high-risk stage from an age perspective. Gyno's no matter there gender or race need to be sensitive to how they communicate to patients of color. if there's a risk of the patient running into serious reproductive health problems that's one thing, if a patient is just coming to check on a problem that's none but not life threading, why in Gods name to gyno's go to 100% removing a women's ability to ever reproduce?

During our first meeting Dr. Hirsch was very comprehensive and spent time with me prior to the exam to discuss my history, existing problem, and what tests were needed.

I saw Dr. Hirsch because he was the only Doctor available right away. He was FANTASTIC! I'm coming back to see him. He was extremely thorough when answering my questions. Took great notes and made me feel extremely welcomed and comfortable during my visit. I was worried at first because I wasn't sure what to expect however he exceeded my expectations. This was the BEST Doctor appointment. I forgot to ask a question and sent him a message online. He replied within a matter or hours and sent me a detailed list of information. I'm so happy to have found Dr. Hirsch and look forward to meeting with him. I changed him right away to my Primary Obstetrician.

it's not about the Doctor or the office visit it's about the Notes that are in the North Shore Connect!!! I don't like that my very personal intimate information is available to every Doctor that I'm seeing in the North shore connect!!!I should be asked if I don't mind that my very personal and intimate information will be on North Shore Connect. I looked in my past visit and the only information was my vitamin, my blood pressure and a little more but not my intimate part of my own body!!!!
