I take a whole child approach to testing and evaluation. I view my job as using what I know about the brain to help understand how children think, learn, and go about their daily lives in order to develop educational, psychosocial, and medical recommendations to support optimal development. I also do this within the context of development. So, what experiences has this particular child had in the past, what are the contexts, demands, and challenges they are facing now, and where will they go in the future. My job is to use my expertise to help understand the whole child and develop recommendations to support their optimal functioning in all areas of their lives.
