There are different approaches to health. I am pragmatic and work with patients. I believe people stay healthy by eating a healthy diet, exercising and practicing 'wellness behaviors', but that illness and prevention sometimes require medication or other intervention. I like to shorten medication lists and avoid unnecessary testing. Time and love are the best healers, but sometimes you need a doctor and a pill!
