“We have a long experience taking care of orthopaedic problems and are able to translate that experience into high quality care.” Dr. James Fox is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon who provides general orthopaedic care, particularly fracture care and knee arthroscopy. In addition, he practices orthopaedic oncology, that is, treatment of bone issues related to both malignant (cancerous) and benign (non-cancerous) tumors. Dr. Fox employs the best treatments available for improving patients’ mobility and function, pain level and quality of life. Dr. Fox also established and runs OrthoAccess, Illinois Bone & Joint’s immediate care clinics for injuries that don’t require an emergency room visit. Dr. Fox and is committed to making prompt, high quality care available to patients. He guides his fracture patients through the entire healing process from the point of injury to rehabilitation and recovery and strives to restore the patient’s health as it was prior to the injury.
