Skokie Hospital AMI-1 Aspirin at Arrival

Chewing an aspirin as soon as symptoms of a heart attack begin may help reduce the severity of the attack. This graph shows the percent of patients who were given an aspirin, or who may have taken one before arriving at the hospital.

Our goal is to be in the top 10% percent of hospitals nationwide. We have multi-disciplinary teams actively working to improve our performance in this area and others.
