Mark R. Neaman
President and Chief Executive Officer, NorthShore University HealthSystem

Mark Neaman has served as President and Chief Executive Officer of NorthShore University HealthSystem since 1992. Mr. Neaman has spent his entire career in Evanston, joining the hospital in 1974 after earning his Master of Science, Business & Healthcare degree from Ohio State University.

Mr. Neaman has served on a variety of healthcare-related organizations.  He is a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) and served on the Board of Governors for the College and was Chairman.  He is a member of the Healthcare Leadership Council and has served as the Chairman of the Board.  He is a member of the American Hospital Association; served on the Regional Advisory Board of AHA and the Board of Directors of the Illinois Hospital Association; is a member and was Chairman of the Board of the National Committee for Quality Health Care in Washington, D.C.; was Chairman of the Board for LifeSource Regional Blood Center and served on the Board of Directors; is a member of the International Hospital Federation; Past President of The Ohio State University Alumni Association; served on the Board of Directors for the Heart Association of Northern Cook County; is a Fellow, Institute of Medicine of Chicago; and is a member of the Commercial Club, The Economic Club, and Executives’ Club of Chicago.  He is a member of Health Insights Foundation and was Chairman.  He served on the Board of Directors of the VHA Health Foundation, Inc.

Mr. Neaman undertook a Healthcare Fellowship with the International Hospital Federation.  He was named to the “Young Healthcare Executive of the Year” Award from the 35,000 member ACHE; and the “Distinguished Alumnus of the Year” Award from The Ohio State University Graduate School.  He was named the Healthcare CEO of the Year by HIMSS/Modern Healthcare. In 2009, Mr. Neaman was the recipient of ACHE’s highest recognition, the Gold Medal Award

Jeffrey H. Hillebrand
Chief Operating Officer, NorthShore University HealthSystem

Jeffery H. Hillebrand joined the organization in 1979 and has previously served as Executive Vice President, President of NorthShore University HealthSystem Medical Group, Senior Vice President, and President, of Glenbrook Hospital. Mr. Hillebrand has an MHSA from the University of Michigan and a BA from Dartmouth College. He is a Fellow of, and has served as a Regent in, the American College of Healthcare Executives, and is a member of the Society of Hospital Planning of the American Hospital Association, Leadership Greater Chicago, and the Young Presidents Organization. He serves as a preceptor for the University of Michigan. He is a past Trustee of the Village of Kenilworth. He has served as Vice Chairman of the American Heart Association of Metropolitan Chicago and is also President of the Northeast Illinois Council of the Boy Scouts of America.
