The John and Carol Walter Center for Urological Health is a 6,000 square foot, state-of-the-art facility offering patients and their families the very best care experience, provided by world class clinicians supported with leading edge researchers.

The Walter Center - founded on the philosophy that patients thrive where they have access to team-based care and when they can understand their treatment options and chart their outcomes - will offer a "one stop" personalized approach and specialized urological care to patients.

The combination of NorthShore's focus on the individual patient with scientific innovation is what helped drive John and Carol Walter's decision to make this transformational gift to establish a dedicated Center for Urological Health.

The clinical and research expertise offered at NorthShore will foster growth and innovation of this Center. Medical Leadership

At its core, the John and Carol Walter Center for Urological Health boasts inspired clinical leadership, outstanding research collaboration and patient-centered treatment goals designed to provide innovative urological care. Founding physicians, Charles Brendler, MD and Michael McGuire, MD will serve as the Walter Center's Co-Medical Directors and have hand picked a research team to uniquely resource this innovative center.

The breadth of expertise and knowledge in prostate and urological cancer of the Walter Center's Co-Medical Directors will support the entire discipline of urology for both men and women - from education to advanced research - in a patient-friendly environment designed to be informative, reassuring and supportive.
