Young Adult Eating Disorders Program

The Center for Eating Disorders at Highland Park Hospital treats both adolescents and adults with eating disorders in a caring and nurturing environment.  This nationally recognized program provides comprehensive evaluation and individualized treatment. 

Treatment Options

  • A day-hospital program for individuals struggling with anorexia or bulimia, which incorporates various types of group therapy, nutritional counseling and individual and family counseling.
  • Outpatient therapy includes an intensive “aftercare” program for those who have been discharged from the day-hospital program as well as individual and family counseling for those coping with various other eating disorders.
  • Education and treatment focus on making and maintaining positive behavioral change.
