The Pediatric Service provides consultation and comprehensive evaluations for children between the ages of 3 and 17 for concerns with respect to cognitive, academic, behavioral, social-emotional and psychological functioning.
Specific concerns might involve:
- Academic problems
- Conduct problems
- Depression or other mood disorders
- Developmental delay
- Autism or other pervasive developmental disorders
- Memory weaknesses
- Attention problems
- Social difficulties
The service includes consultation and advocacy for children's educational and behavioral needs by participating at school meetings. Specific recommendations can be made for behavioral, emotional and educational planning.
