The Intensive Outpatient Program is:
- A 3-hour day program for adolescents ages 12-18 years of age
- A time-limited transition process for the achievement of realistic treatment goals
- Stabilization of daily functioning with regulation of moderate symptoms
- A structured set of cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, social and life skills in a group setting
- IOP’s short-term, intensive programming is integrated with re-entry to school and community
- Family education is provided to support the patient’s skill set for ongoing recovery
