The Intensive Outpatient Program is:

  • A 3-hour day program for adolescents ages 12-18 years of age
  • A time-limited transition process for the achievement of realistic treatment goals
  • Stabilization of daily functioning with regulation of moderate symptoms
  • A structured set of cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, social and life skills in a group setting
  • IOP’s short-term, intensive programming is integrated with re-entry to school and community
  • Family education is provided to support the patient’s skill set for ongoing recovery
